Enterprise ArchitectureEnterprise Architecture ICT (EA)
is an integral part of effective ICT management because of the complexity and complexity of the entire application and infrastructure environment of most organizations. This part of ICT services is necessary even in the case of a “quick” need to deploy new solutions based on business requirements and agile methods of project management and releases – right from the idea stage.
In the event that the organization does not engage in this activity at all or only marginally, the operation and offer of services becomes confusing, disproportionately expensive and, on the contrary, leads to a slowdown in development.
Business and IT analysisAn integral part of the development of a new or modification of an existing application is the preparation of business and subsequent IT analysis. Without a good assignment from both sides, business expectation is not fulfilled, misunderstandings that lead to project stretching, cost increases, and it’s basically unclear when the work is done, in these cases the acceptance criteria are also vague. Problems are escalated to higher levels of management in the organization, business is dissatisfied, and IT as a supplier gets a label of untrustworthiness.
Pre-project preparationPre-project preparation is one of the most important parts of the project preparation. By omission or neglecting certain activities in the next project phases, time, costs and scope are exceeded with all the consequences of incorrect procedure setting and disregarding all necessary inputs.
